Hello.

I've got nothing to blog about, but here I am sitting in front of my laptop typing this post because Mr Raymond is hogging the toilet when I seriously need to take a shit and bathe.

Anyways, to occupy this post, here's a funny vid for football fans (Kyle, Vhi, Sheng or anyone else who watches football, you'll like the vid haha).

Haha, it's for charity, btw. =)

And Crouch really did the rope thing when he scored in England's next match. LOL

Hey guys! Haha what's up?

It's been a while since I posted here but I actually got nothing much to write about. So I guess I'm gonna post something really really random.

In the name of stupidity! [Quote Jay Min in his Rempit gang hey-days] =)

Haha, ok neways, it might come as a shock, but I have officially put on 7kg since I came here. So add that with the 5kg I gained when I started sitting down and studying for SPM, I've put on a total of 12kg since I stopped sports last year (which is around October?).

[Damn, close your damn jaws and wipe that shock look off your faces lar]

And no, Lin Cze, I'm not overweight. Yet. Haha, I've grown abit taller, so it sort of counters the weight I've put on. And, my BMI's 23, which is actually OK. (According to the BMI scale, I was actually underweight last year)

But still, my face has become chubbier and rounder like a ball. I reckon a few more kilos and people will start mixing me up with a Teletubbie.

Haha, so I sort of came up with a plan to suck out Flubber Freddy out of my cheeks and reduce the size Big Belly Bob.

SEAN HAS OFFICIALLY STARTED EATING HEALTHY AND RUNNING ON A TREADMILL.

Haha, I'm not lying! I've already gone off Coke for 2 weeks. 2 weeks! (I deserve an award for this..) Lol, andddd, instead of stocking up on chips and chocolate like I always do, I've now stocked up on cereal, yogurt and muesli bars. To top that up, I've been running in the gym upstairs. Which is kinda unlike me.

Haha, go me! =)

Neways, on another random thing to finish off this post,.......

I just saw this freaky good luck ritual for babies in India.

Lol I pity the babies man.

Right, Big Belly Bob's telling me to get something to munch.

I mean.........I'm off to the gym!

Cherio! =)

sleep peels

hey guys:) this is my very first blog post and I dont know whether to be happy or sad coz my blog-post-virginity has just been deflowered(how much was it worth anyway). Well, I decided to post something coz I'm bored and there is around 3 more hours to wait for the Manchester United vs Arsenal game. And besides, I'm one of the contributors so I better contribute something. And also since I kind of 'dropped out' of college recently which means no more pool, McD every other day and seeing the rare hot chicks :( , I won't have any practice for composition for 3 months so I better practice it here. If not, by the time I go overseas, my English would have degraded 4-5 years.

I don't think I would want to write about my daily activities and I'm pretty sure you wouldn't want to read about it too coz I find it mundane. For example, today i woke up at 10 coz i heard the fifa 09 supporters and commentators sounds. I thought i was dreaming but then I saw my brother in front of the tv playing fifa when he was supposed to be at school(He said he was sick). I lay in bed till 11 then got out for breakfast- apple strudels with vanilla ice cream. Then I bathed and then played fifa till lunch time. Had bak kut teh for lunch and then did a calculus test out paper to see whether what I learnt here is the same as I would learn there. My calculus is quite rusty and couldn't solve a few questions so had to refer to the internet. Took like 2.5 hours when it should have been done in 2 hours. And after that alternated watching tv and playing fifa till now(with dinner and bath in between). Boring rite.. plus, no pictures coz the only camera I have is my phone and I hate taking pictures and having pictures taken of me.

So, I think I'll write about other things. and probably do it weekly to kill some boredom. Today I think I'll rant about sleep because its the first thing i thought of. Its one of my most favourite activities(it loses out to drinking coca-cola though). And I've been sleeping a lot lately due to college starting at 10 in the past semester. Not like secondary school which starts at 8 and I had to wake up at 6.30. In psychology class, the textbook says that sleep is beneficial due to the cell repair/regeneration/whatever theory and having not ehough sleep leads to microsleep, hallucinations, loss of concentration etc. which is not good. Well I think that sometimes not sleeping enough does have its benefits too. I used to wake up at around 4-4.30 to study before an exam and I think it gave me some extra marks and bigger eyebags. And once when I stayed up the whole night, midnight and dawn, my voice got nicer which in turn made my singing nicer although it still sucked. But its debatable though coz i could have had a flu or sore throat.

However, IMO, the best thing to sacrifice my sleep for is to watch football. Bloody hell. Nothing beats watching a live match on tv except for watching it live itself in the stadium. Especially when the big teams which play beautiful football are playing against one another. They usually occupy the worst timeslots though. But its worth it most of the time. Some past few matches got my heart pounding like it would be if I were really running around with the ball at my feet. The euphoria when goals are scored, cursing at debatable issues like penalties or cards and the joy of watching pinpoint passing and silky skills or funny moments like when player's balls get hit by the ball or when the referee slips(search funny soccer moments or something like that on youtube). All part and parcel of the beautiful game.

Back to sleep. For me though, having not enough sleep is like getting my face pounded by Manny Pacquiao, the more I don't sleep, the more my face gets punched. I can't perform well if I had not enough sleep the night before, getting all cranky and lethargic and feeling weak all over my body. The day after I stayed up the whole night, I was 'KO-ed' at the dinner table, trying to keep my eyes open. I kinda envy those people who can get by with very minimal amounts of sleep. Plus, I can't take naps in the evening or I'll come down with the fever. WTH rite. But then again, sometimes, sacrificing some sleep is good. Not too often though. In terms of racing, sacrificing my sleep is like getting a nitrous oxide boost. Gives extra benefits but has to be recharged which means oversleeping the next night. And sometimes when used too much at one go can cause the car to flip over or crash. It needs to be used properly.

Ok, I think I better go get 2 hours sleep before the game. Sorry if the post was boring.

Before that, food for the mind:-
I don't play against a particular team. I play against the idea of losing. - Eric Cantona
